Making a candidates list of citizen judge, for a new trial system, are already begun. The first list will be given until the end of December.

Japan Mediation Center reported questions and arguments are increasing because of anxiety by people regarding the new system.

Why does it make people so nervous?
1) anxiety for new things
2) for unknown matter
3) How are we treated?
4) Nervous about pressure for deciding something
5) Difference will be appeared
6) Nervous about that they should not say "i don't know"

No.5 and 6 are really japanese perspective.

Besides broadcasted news and magazines with other media have been promoting the system, a result of google searching word "SAI BAN IN"(citizen judge in Japanese) are increasing year by year.

My friend who did not care about law or court before, seriously asked how He should behaves if He will be selected as a citizen judge. Some TV programs contains lawyers, court and some other related matter rather than before.

Those TV programs are....

A virtual law firm has a long line
Attorney "Mr. Kuzu"
Mr. and Mrs, Sasaki's war without a code
HOKABEN(Freshman attorney)

...are very popular recently. Even TV program within an hour or so with ten times series, can give message with its difficulty, hardness, possible mistake, and conflict. Matured people can learn and think about it, so that it can be expected to penetrate into society. In latest comics of "Attorney KUZU no.7" expressed to simulate and figure out a trial with selected 6 personals as citizen judges.

By the way, people easily think to familiarize a thing with pretty character, and many of them appeared.
But is it right way to treat with easy characters for serious matter which may reflect Life of a human or a spans of rest of life?
